Daytona 250SX winner Garrett Marchbanks has confirmed his future after parting ways with Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki and joining the ClubMX team for the 2021 season.

The 19-year-old wasn’t retained for next year, however, after months of uncertainty he has agreed to terms with the ClubMX team following a lengthy partnership with Kawasaki. He recently rode the Yamaha for the first time.

“As some of you may know, these past four months I was really struggling on figuring out what my next move was going to be for the upcoming season until I got the news that ClubMX wanted to help me out,” Marchbanks commented via a post on social media.

“Hearing what they had to say and offer was more than what I could ever ask for and I can’t thank the whole crew enough for giving me the opportunity and support to continue my racing in 2021. I’m beyond grateful and I’ll see you guys at the races!”

Marchbanks was fourth in the Monster Energy Supercross 250SX East standings despite injuring his knee at Salt Lake City 3, picking up a first-career victory in the Daytona Supercross prior to the COVID-19 pause in the season. He was forced to miss the entire Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series.
