Injured while training for upcoming Seattle round of 250SX West.
Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha rider Jett Reynolds is recovering from surgery after sustaining a broken leg on Friday in a crash while training, ruled out for the remainder of Monster Energy Supercross.
Reynolds, 21, was preparing for next weekend’s Seattle round of the 250SX Western Division, but will now reset for the Pro Motocross series.
“I regret to announce that Jett Reynolds had a fluke crash while training on Friday and suffered a broken leg,” ClubMX team manager Mike Bonacci said. “It will unfortunately take him out of racing for the balance of the Supercross season.
“He had surgery at 6:00am this morning and will start his rehabilitation process next week. As you have seen, Jett was making great progress in the Supercross series and on the way to his best overall performance in his young career. He is obviously disappointed, but will fight his way back to be even stronger for the outdoor series in May.”
Reynolds was currently sitting 16th in the 250SX West point-standings, earning a best result of 10th in the Arlington Triple Crown via 14-9-13 results earlier this month. Pro Motocross commences on May 24 at Fox Raceway in Pala, California.
