Anaheim 1's season-opening round bumped back to January 11 for next season.
The 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship will commence on the second weekend of January, a partial schedule release has confirmed today that Anaheim 1 will start later than it traditionally has in previous seasons.
With eight rounds officially revealed, Anaheim 1 will open the new series on Saturday, January 11, followed by San Diego (January 18), Anaheim 2 (January 25), and Glendale (February 1).
The first east coast round will then take place at Tampa on Saturday, 8 February, before rounds six through eight in 2025 will include Detroit (15 February), Arlington (February 22), and Daytona (March 1). It’s unclear when the second half of the season will be announced.
It’s an unexpected shift for Feld Motor Sports to bump Supercross back in the schedule, with its high-profile Monster Jam property to instead be held at Angel Stadium on the first weekend of the year between January 4-5.
