The 53rd edition of the Daytona Supercross delivered an engaging battle among the championship contenders and proved to be a historic night of racing as Eli Tomac of Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing broke away from Ricky Carmichael on the all-time wins list with the 49th Monster Energy AMA Supercross win of his career and seventh at the famed Daytona International Speedway. The 250SX East action saw Hunter Lawrence (Team Honda HRC) cruise to his third win of 2023 ahead of Max Anstie (Fire Power Honda) and first-time podium finisher Haiden Deegan (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing). Each of the top three finishers spoke to the media post-race in the Press Conference.
