A crash while practicing this week has ruled Malcolm Stewart out of tomorrow’s Anaheim 2 round of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Championship.

While details are yet to be disclosed, Stewart’s Rockstar Energy Husqvarna team has revealed that he will be sidelined on Saturday.

“A practice crash during the week has sidelined Malcom Stewart for this weekend’s Supercross at A2,” a social media update from Husqvarna Motorcycles announced. “Details to follow as Malcolm undergoes further evaluation.”

Despite leading laps of the 450SX main event at Anaheim’s opening round and winning his heat race San Diego, incidents meant he could only manage 16-15 scores to start the season, currently ranked 15th in the point-standings following two rounds.
