In his return to action at RedBud, Jeremy Martin managed fifth overall with 5-3 moto scores, now looking ‘to find a little more’ as the series heads to Southwick.
After missing round three of the 2021 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship with a broken scaphoid in his wrist, Martin returned to action at RedBud for round four.
While it was unclear how much the injury had in his four weeks away from action, Martin rebounded well, though admitting he didn’t have the pace to run at the front in his return.
“It was a solid day for me going 5-3 for fifth overall,” Martin explained. “I didn’t have the speed of the top guys today on a very rough track, so I’ll see what I can do this week to find a little more!”
The two-time 250MX champion was a favorite coming into the season still sits fifth overall in the standings, now 64 points back from Jett Lawrence (Team Honda HRC) at the front.
Martin will get his next opportunity to rebound this Saturday as the series returns to Southwick for round five.
