Fox Raceway, Thunder Valley, and High Point set to host championship openers.
Tickets for the opening three rounds of the 2021 Pro Motocross Championship have officially gone on sale, with limited capacity due to ongoing mitigation measures surrounding Covid-19.
The opening round of the 12-round series is set to kick off in Southern California at Fox Raceway over Memorial Day weekend, with racing from round one slated for Saturday 29 May.
Stop number two will see the series head to Thunder Valley Motocross Park. The mile-high altitude located just outside of Denver, Colorado will play host to the series on 5 June.
A short break in the action will then be followed up by round three at the legendary High Point Raceway over Father’s Day weekend. The 44th running of the High Point National is slated for Saturday 19 June.
With Covid-19 still posing a threat, the capacity for each of the three races will be limited. Measures to protect the riders and fans will see the paddock closed to spectators for these rounds.
The 2021 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship will be upon us before we know it,” exclaimed Davey Coombs, President of MX Sports Pro Racing. “We’re eager to get back to the sport’s most iconic and historic venues, back in front of our incredibly passionate and loyal fans, and back to what makes this the world’s most prestigious off-road motorcycle racing series,”
