A strong start to the day of racing for the JMC Motorsports Fly Racing Husqvarna Team ended on a low note as Martin Castelo would miss the Main event with a last lap bobble causing him to lose a transfer spot.

Castelo rode a great race and maintained a healthy gap and control the entire moto, however catching an awkward angle out of a corner would cause him to go off the track. After re-entering safely Castelo had lost all of his gap time and had 4 th , 5 th , and 6 th place breathing down his neck. In the second to last corner they would all get together and Castelo would come out on the wrong side of 4 th place.

Carson Brown would qualify 11 th fastest headed into the night show after putting in some impressive times in 250 group B qualifying. Heading into Heat 2 Brown would pull a top 5 start but would clip a Rockstar Energy Husqvarna bike in a corner and go down on the first lap. Brown then mounted his JMC Motorsports Husqvarna and started to put in a charge, while passing two riders in the whoops Brown would go down and injured his left arm. This was the end to Browns night of racing, Carson hopes to be back as soon as possible, we will keep everyone informed of his condition as we get more information.

Castelo is ready to go racing in Daytona as he gets some mid-week testing and training that will allow him to get ready for the Daytona Supercross. The JMC bike has proven already to hold itself in the front of the pack with several great starts in Saturdays first 250 West Series, the team looks forward to the next round of racing.
