Won't be returning for the remaining rounds with Kawasaki.
Monster Energy Kawasaki has announced that Jason Anderson won’t be returning for the remainder of the 2025 Supercross season in order ‘to address ongoing health concerns’.
Anderson, 32, sat out Saturday in Seattle due to what was said to be a family emergency, but has since opted out for the remainder of the series.
“After sitting out Seattle, Jason Anderson has made the decision with the support of his family and Kawasaki to sit out the remainder of the Supercross season to address ongoing health concerns,” a statement from Kawasaki confirmed.
“His current plan is to focus on returning to competition for the Pro Motocross series fully prepared and ready to compete. Monster Energy Kawasaki will continue to attend the remaining Supercross rounds to be in support of Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki and Team Green SMX Next riders.”
The 2018 450SX champion started Monster Energy Supercross in convincing fashion with three podiums across the opening five rounds – P3 at Anaheim 1, Anaheim 2 and Tampa – and had been positioned sixth in the standings prior to exiting round 11 in Washington on the weekend.
