Western division 250SX contender back on track from this weekend.
Triumph Racing will welcome Jordon Smith back to 250SX West competition this weekend in Seattle, recovered from his injuries sustained at Arlington late last month.
Smith, 30, broke four ribs and suffered from internal complications including a punctured lung and lacerated spleen after crashing out of the first of three Triple Crown races in Texas.
“We are back!” Smith announced. “Been working hard to get healed and back to race shape in the past four weeks. Thanks to all the doctors that had a part in helping me get back on the track, and my whole crew back at home with a special thanks to Katie Smith for taking care of Blair and I! See you guys in Seattle!”
Smith had opened the western division with three podiums in four races onboard the TF 250-X, but has dropped to fifth in the standings after missing the Indianapolis 250SX East/West Showdown last month.
