Decision mutual between teenage newcomer and the team.
Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha has announced that it has mutually agreed to part ways with 250SX East rider Mark Fineis, effective immediately.
Fineis, 19, arrived at ClubMX’s Yamaha-backed program last year during Supercross Futures – now SMX Next – and completed the full Pro Motocross season in 21st overall.
It was intended that the Indiana native would line up in the eastern division of Monster Energy Supercross this year, however, his lone main event start came in Detroit where he finished 18th. He’s been absent altogether since the Indianapolis Supercross 250SX East/West Showdown.
“The Muc-Off FXR ClubMX team has announced the departure of Mark Fineis from the program, effective immediately. Mark and the team have mutually agreed to part ways, and we wish him well in all of his future endeavors.”
With Devin Simonson and Australian replacement Reid Taylor both still sidelined through injury, plus Jett Reynolds recently sustaining a broken leg, Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha will form a single-rider effort with Coty Schock when 250SX West resumes in Seattle this weekend.
