No official timetable for Triumph Racing rider’s return to racing.
Stilez Robertson has undergone surgery on his wrist following ligament damage sustained during qualifying at the San Diego Supercross round in January. The injury, which affects the same wrist that sidelined him for the entirety of 2024, will likely keep the Californian out for the remainder of the Monster Energy Supercross season.
Triumph Racing rider Robertson, who managed a 20th-place finish at Anaheim 1 in his only main event start of the season, now shifts his focus toward recovery in hopes of a timely return to racing.
“I don’t have much to say, didn’t even crash and completely tore a ligament in my wrist which made it unstable,” the 22-year-old announced. “It’s the same wrist I did in 2023, so not sure if the ligament was damaged and finally gave out when I over-jumped at San Diego. The surgery went well and I’m on the road to 100 percent now.
“Thanks to everyone who’s been there for me and my team Triumph Racing. And to all the keyboard warriors, I didn’t try to get hurt again but injuries come with this sport – I would way rather be racing and riding than sitting here with my wrist throbbing.”
Robertson isn’t the only Triumph Racing rider left on the sidelines this season, as teammate Jalek Swoll remains out due to an achilles tendon injury sustained in the lead-up to the 250SX East class season-opener.
With Robertson and Swoll both on the bench, Triumph Racing’s active line-up now consists of Jordon Smith (250SX West division) and Austin Forkner (250SX East division), who continue to represent the British manufacturer on track.
