‘I had a crash this week that was completely out of my control’.
Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Nate Thrasher will attempt to race through the pain of a broken finger in Detroit tomorrow, picking up the injury during mid-week training.
The 22-year-old finished eighth in Tampa’s opening round of 250SX East, but will start the second round of the region under an injury cloud.
“Unfortunately, I had a crash this week that was completely out of my control that resulted in breaking a finger,” Thrasher said. “Going to deal with it the best I can – see you guys on race day.”
After qualifying fourth at the eastern division’s season-opener and replicating that result in his heat race, Thrasher brought his YZ250F home in eighth position at the conclusion of last week’s main event.
