'My wrists and ankles are not happy' – Roczen.
450SX podium finisher Ken Roczen was critical of the wall jumps on-track in Glendale after finishing P3, labelling them ‘ridiculous’ post-race.
The track layout in State Farm Stadium made for varied options, but it was the wall jumps that left multiple teams with reports of bike damage by late Saturday night.
“On the rhythm side of things, the track was awesome, but on another hand, not happy with the wall jumps onto the flat,” Roczen commented. “My wrists and ankles are not happy – that was ridiculous, honestly.
“But yeah, it was overall a cool track. You kind of had, it was busy on one part of the track, and then you had the open area going back across the start straight and stuff like that. Overall, I did enjoy it, minus the wall jumps.”
After entering round four with the 450SX points lead, Roczen now sits second in the title hunt, two points behind new red plate-holder Chase Sexton (Red Bull KTM) entering Tampa this weekend.
