A trio of Scouting Moto Combine races will run alongside the Pro Motocross Championship once again in 2025 as part of the SMX Next program.

Round one of the Combine will take place at Hangtown on May 30, followed by round two at RedBud on July 4, and round three wraps up at Ironman on August 8.

SMX Next features five Supercross races and three outdoor rounds, all leading up to the SMX Next World All-Stars at the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) Final.

“SMX Next continues to be one of the most groundbreaking initiatives this sport has implemented in its illustrious history,” said Jim Perry, program director. “It has greatly benefited the ongoing development and skill progression of the sport’s most promising young athletes.

“The Scouting Moto Combine has played an integral part in the success of the program and will expand to include three events for the 2025 season, with the focus on providing more opportunities for the next generation of racers to experience competition at the highest level.

“We’re eager to bring together a new collection of prospects this outdoor season and provide them with proven hands-on guidance that has fostered a wealth of success at the professional level.”

The first round of SMX Next takes places this Saturday, February 1, set to run alongside round three of the 2025 Monster Energy Supercross round at Glendale’s State Farm Stadium.
