Rockstar Energy GasGas team signing recovering from a leg injury.
An off-season leg injury has struck Rockstar Energy GasGas recruit Casey Cochran, disrupting his preparations for the 2025 season and already undergoing surgery in a bid to accelerate his recovery.
After beginning this year in Supercross Futures, Cochran lined up in select 250SX East races to build experience and then completed a full season in 250MX, finishing 13th overall.
“I had a really productive two weeks of testing in California with the Rockstar GasGas Factory Racing team, but unfortunately I injured my leg on the first day of bootcamp back here in Florida,” revealed Cochran.
“Surgery is done, I’m now focused on my recovery and doing everything I can to get back to full strength. I’m determined to be 100 percent and get back on the bike as soon as possible.”
Previously in the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna program, Cochran will join Ryder DiFrancesco as part of the new in-house GasGas organization for next year in Monster Energy AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross, but will pause his pre-season while recovering from what is an undisclosed leg injury.
