Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing has made Pierce Brown’s signing for the 2025 season official, transferring across from GasGas for the new year and fresh from victory in the Las Vegas 250SMX finale.

Brown, 22, will be equipped with the YZ250F throughout the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX), including Monster Energy Supercross and Pro Motocross.

“I’m stoked to be a part of such a successful team,” Brown commented. “We’re going to get to work and come out swinging next year.”

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing 250 team manager Jensen Hendler added: “We’re excited to have Pierce join the team. I think his personality and work ethic will fit right in over here and take him to the next level. We’re looking forward to seeing what he can conquer in 2025!”

In his fifth and final term with Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GasGas this year, Brown finished fourth in the 250SX East series, eighth in 250MX, and his win at the final round of SMX elevated him to third in the standings.
