Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Levi Kitchen grabbed both holeshots en route to the overall victory in the 250MX class at Unadilla. His second win of the 2024 season moved him back into P2 in the standings.

Kitchen split moto victories with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Haiden Deegan as both riders battled to the flag in the first moto. Deegan struggled off the gate in the second moto but charged all the way back to second by the end to match Kitchen on points for the day.

Neither rider was in line to win the first moto as Team Honda HRC’s Chance Hymas had a comfortable lead late in the moto when he crashed violently. Despite being able to remount, finish that moto, and start the second moto, Hymas would eventually withdraw and scored zero points on the day.

It was a first ever podium in AMA Pro Motocross for Triumph Racing though as Jalek Swoll put consistent 6-4 scores together to round out the podium. In his return to Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki, Garrett Marchbanks went 5-5 for P4 overall as he just edged out Star Racing Yamaha’s Max Anstie who would settle for P5 on the day.

Behind them, it was Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GasGas’ Pierce Brown in sixth, Star Racing Yamaha’s Jordon Smith in seventh, Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Ty Masterpool in eighth, Red Bull KTM’s Julien Beaumer in ninth, and TLD GasGas’ Ryder DiFrancesco in 10th.

Haiden Deegan leads the championship by 70 points with two rounds to go and is set up well to potentially clinch the championship a round early at the Budds Creek National next week.
