Signed for 2025 season in Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki return.
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki has confirmed that Garrett Marchbanks will make his first appearance back with the team at Unadilla next weekend, to commence his deal that spans through 2025.
Marchbanks, 22, had ridden for Pro Circuit during 2018-2020 before transferring to ClubMX Yamaha, but the pair separated earlier this month.
“I am stoked to be returning to the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team,” said Marchbanks. “We are hopping on the KX250 about a week and a half before Unadilla and I’m looking forward to the last three rounds of Pro Motocross and securing some points to be able to participate in the SuperMotocross World Championship Finals. I’m super-thankful for Mitch and the whole team for the opportunity to start early and be prepared for the 2025 season.”
It’s been widely speculated this summer that Marchbanks would be reuniting with Mitch Payton’s official Kawasaki 250 program for next season, which has been moved forward as a result of his split with ClubMX.
“We are very pleased to welcome Garrett back to the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki family,” said Payton, Pro Circuit founder and owner. “The opportunity arose unexpectedly when his contract with ClubMX expired and Garrett expressed the interest to continue to race this summer. He has shown a lot of potential in the races he’s done this year, and we are ready to see him back on our bike. Our team is committed to providing him with the best support for SMX and will continue that into the off-season for 2025.”
This year started strongly for Marchbanks in Monster Energy Supercross, claiming two podiums in the early rounds of 250SX West – San Francisco and San Diego – on his way to P6 in the standings, despite being injured in Nashville during the latter stages of the series.
Marchbanks’ lone Supercross main event victory came with Pro Circuit in 2020 at Daytona, set to join Levi Kitchen and fill-in rider Ty Masterpool through the final rounds of the 2024 Pro Motocross Championship, which will lead him into the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) post-season.
