A 1-1 sweep extends Jett Lawrence’s consecutive moto wins streak to 24.
Team Honda HRC’s Jett Lawrence swept both motos of the Fox Raceway National on Saturday to kick off the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship. The 1-1 performance extended Lawrence’s consecutive moto wins streak out to 24 wins as he now ties James Stewart for the third longest streak in series history.

Phoenix Racing Honda’s Dylan Ferrandis finished up P4 with 7-5 finishes while Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GasGas rider Justin Barcia went 6-6 to round out the top five. Red Bull KTM’s Aaron Plessinger was a strong third in the first moto but crash in the first turn of the second moto and could only manage his way back to 12th, ending the day eighth overall.
Justin Cooper put his Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing bike in sixth overall with 5-8 scores ahead of Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jason Anderson in seventh, Plessinger in eighth, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Malcolm Stewart in ninth, and Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha’s Phil Nicoletti rounding out the top 10.
