With just 22 days remaining until the opening round of the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing has announced that Eli Tomac will continue with the team through the entire Pro Motocross season and into the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship.

“We can officially announce that we are in for the full SMX season,” said Tomac. “It really came down to wanting to continue what we have going on. I’ve been feeling great on the motorcycle. We’re getting into our groove, and I feel like we’re going to be really strong in Pro Motocross and for the SMX series. I’m excited to keep racing!”

Tomac is currently third in 450SX points standings through 15 rounds of the series. The multi-time champion made his return to racing in 2024 after a ruptured Achilles tendon ended his 2023 season, and what many thought his career as well.

Now Tomac will extend his career once more to make a full run at all titles in 2024. The last time Tomac raced AMA Pro Motocross, he bested Chase Sexton in a title fight that went all the way down to the final round in 2022 to claim his fourth 450 class title. Now we will see Tomac stack up against reigning champion Jett Lawrence for the first time in motocross.
