The Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha team has officially announced a contract extension between them and Coty Schock that will see the Delaware native remain with the team through 2027. The deal officially begins at the start of 2025, but the team also confirmed Schock signed another short term contract in between that will see him continue with the program into AMA Pro Motocross for the 2024 season.

Schock initially signed on with the team as a free agent following the 2023 season in a deal that was originally meant to be only for Monster Energy Supercross. Schock has done nothing but impress this year as he sits fifth in 250SX East standings with two top five finishes, one of them coming just a week after breaking his collarbone. Now the 26-year-old will have a home for the next three and a half years to continue building his career.

“I don’t want to be anywhere else,” said Schock. “The atmosphere is amazing, the tracks are unbelievable, and the bike is crazy good. When I’m on the line, I feel like there isn’t another bike better than mine and that shows in my performance so far. The cool thing is the team is already building for the future with more improvements in the bike and the program overall. I’m really happy to be here at this time to be a part of the next level of growth. Beyond that, thank you to the entire team for making this happen. Everyone at ClubMX has a part in my success and I’m grateful every day for the chance to be here and stay here.”

While no specific outline had been laid on whether the deal will see Schock remain as a 250 rider for the team, the ClubMX program has often switched things up by putting their riders like Phil Nicoletti and Garrett Marchbanks on 450s, particularly for Pro Motocross. For now, Schock will remain focused on his 250SX East effort as racing resumes this weekend in Foxborough for the sixth round of action in their series.
