Expected to contest 450SX alongside previously-confirmed Bloss.
Liqui Moly Beta Racing has teased the signing of Colt Nichols alongside Benny Bloss for the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, with an official announcement now appearing to be imminent.
The 2021 250SX East champion competed with Team Honda HRC in his maiden 450SX campaign this year and claimed a best result of fourth in Nashville on his way to 14th in the final standings after sitting out multiple rounds.
Nichols, 29, is currently contesting the World Supercross Championship (WSX) with Rick Ware Racing onboard Kawasaki machinery, finishing eighth in the WSX British Grand Prix on debut. He was also 10th in a Pro Motocross cameo at Washougal, which will be instrumental in him entering the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) post-season inside the top 20.
It’s a surprise move of sorts for Nichols to be joining Bloss on the factory 450 RX in what will be Beta’s first official entry in US competition, previously linked to a potential full-time American Supercross entry with Rick Ware Racing.
