Reynolds still sidelined for round eight of 2023 250MX.
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Carson Mumford will make his Pro Motocross return at Washougal, the team to be represented by five riders in 250MX this Saturday with Jett Reynolds still sidelined.
Mumford has been out following a practice crash at round three of the championship at Thunder Valley, set to make a comeback at the series’ eighth stop.
He will line up alongside teammates Austin Forkner, Jo Shimoda, Ryder DiFrancesco and Seth Hammker, with Reynolds still not feeling well enough to race as he recovers from illness.
“It’s always nice to race in your own time zone at Washougal,” Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team manager Iain Southwell said. “It’s a big lineup for us there with five riders – Jo, Seth, Austin, Ryder, and Carson. Jett is still not feeling well enough to race, so he will have a good break now to recover until Unadilla.”
In the two rounds of 250MX that Mumford has completed this year, his best result was P8 in the second moto at Fox Raceway, as Shimoda is the leading Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider in the standings, the number 30 currently P4.
