Liqui Moly Beta Racing Team to focus on Supercross next year.
A newly-formed Liqui Moly Beta Racing Team has signed Benny Bloss for the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, with a second rider remaining to be announced.
Bloss will be equipped with the factory 450 RX in the team managed by Carlen Gardner, marking a significant step for the brand that entered MXGP in 2021.
“The wait is over and we can finally share everything we have been working towards,” Gardner said. “It has been a great experience being a part of this development and seeing the progression. The only missing part was finding a rider that would mesh well with our Beta family.
“After a one phone call with Benny, we knew it would be a good fit for him, and for us. We are happy to have him on board for the next two years and can’t wait to see everyone at Anaheim in January.”
Beta’s program in the US will be Supercross-only, with the possibility of entering select Pro Motocross rounds next season. Bloss was 19th in the 2023 450SX standings riding a YZ450F, his best result of P8 coming at East Rutherford.
