Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Aaron Plessinger is hopeful of lining up this Saturday in Nashville after he was ruled out of the 14th round of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Championship at MetLife Stadium following a hard crash in practice.

After subsequent X-rays and an MRI scan on his hips, so far everything has checked out okay as the number seven will monitor his condition throughout the week with the ambition of competing in 450SX this Saturday.

“As most of you know, I had a crash on Saturday morning that kept me from racing the absolute mud fest on Saturday night,” Plessinger shared. “The Alpinestars medical crew did a great job of getting me off the track and into the mobile unit where they did some X-rays and some tests, and everything checked out all right and I was able to get out of there and get on my way back home to Florida where I got an MRI on my hips.

“Everything checked out all right with that, I got a bunch of bruising, a bunch of swelling in there, but overall, I’m good. Hopefully, I’ll be ready to race this weekend, but I’ll keep you guys posted on that. But yeah, just kinda dealing with the soreness right now and I’ll see where it leads from here.”

Plessinger is currently seventh in the 450SX standings, with his best result in the season to date coming at Tampa where he finished third.
