250SX qualifying one:
Points leader and Team Honda HRC representative Jett Lawrence kicked off the Glendale Triple Crown with the fastest lap in the first round of qualifying. At 56.93s, Lawrence was 0.376s quicker than Pierce Brown (TLD Red Bull GasGas), who landed second on the Q1 timesheet. Enzo Lopes gave Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha representation in the top three, going 0.147s quicker than Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s RJ Hampshire. Mitchell Oldenburg (Smartop MotoConcepts Racing Honda) completed the top five, 1.87s off Lawrence’s pace on their respective best laps. Returning after crashing out of the previous main event in Seattle, Stilez Robertson (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing) was sixth, leading Levi Kitchen (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing), Cole Thompson (Team Solitaire Heartbeat Hot Sauce Yamaha), Derek Kelley (AEO Powersports KTM Racing), and Carson Mumford (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) in filling the top 10.

450SX qualifying one:
Sharing the red plate with Cooper Webb of Red Bull KTM, Eli Tomac (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing) started the day in Glendale atop the premier class with a 56.467s lap in the first timed qualifying outing. Chase Sexton (Team Honda HRC) was second fastest with a best lap 0.209s slower than Tomac’s. Justin Barcia (TLD Red Bull GasGas), Ken Roczen (Progressive Insurance Ecstar Suzuki), Cooper Webb (Red Bull KTM), and Adam Cianciarulo (Monster Energy Kawasaki) were third through sixth, making it six different manufacturers in the top six. Jason Anderson (Monster Energy Kawasaki), Aaron Plessinger (Red Bull KTM), Dean Wilson (Fire Power Honda), and the returning Colt Nichols (Team Honda HRC) comprised the remainder of the top 10.

250SX qualifying two:
Kitchen and Brown owned the top spot early in the second 250SX West timed qualifying session, but Lawrence returned to the top of live timing with just over three minutes on the clock. As the session concluded, Lawrence’s 57.657s revolution of the State Farm Stadium circuit put him 0.224s clear of Brown, who placed second in both timed qualifying outings. Hampshire found enough speed for third this time around, just 0.02s in arrears of Brown and 0.244 off Lawrence. Lopes, Kitchen, Oldenburg, Robertson, Maximus Vohland (Red Bull KTM), Kelley, and Hunter Yoder (Partzilla PRMX Racing) completed the top 10. Kawasaki fill-in Mumford was 14th.

450SX qualifying two:
Not content with placing second as he did in the first timed qualifying session, Sexton turned in a 56.248s lap in Q2, putting 0.732s between himself and Cianciarulo. Displaying speed and style with a Nac Nac over a triple late in the session, Roczen placed third in the second session, 0.738s off Sexton’s chart-topping pace. Anderson and Tomac completed the top five, while Barcia, Nichols, Webb, Wilson, and Kyle Chisholm (Twisted Tea Suzuki Progressive Insurance) filled the rest of the top 10.

250SX race one:
The opening race of the night in Glendale proved to be messy, with a first-turn crash restraining Mumford, Brown, and others before a violent crash for Robertson led to him being struck by three riders and the appearance of the red flag. Lawrence faced pressure and was quickly passed by Kitchen after the first start, and Kitchen grabbed the holeshot and led early after the complete restart. Kitchen soon fell into the clutches of both Lawrence and Hampshire and ultimately finished third. Brown avoided a first-turn crash after the second gate drop but went down in the second turn with Mitchell Harrison (AJE Motorsports GasGas), setting up a charge back to fourth at the checkered flag. Kelley secured a top five for local team AEO Powersports, while Oldenburg, Lopes, Thompson, Robbie Wageman (Bar-X Suzuki), and Josh Varize (AEO Powersports) completed the top 10.

450SX race one:
Tomac launched from the fourth gate outside the doghouse into the lead to begin the night of racing for the premier class. Webb and Roczen moved into second and third, with Sexton a bit further back and immediately working to move forward. Barcia moved past Roczen for third while Sexton struggled to catch and pass his former teammate on the No. 94 Suzuki RM-Z450. Sexton finally made a last-turn pass on Roczen to secure fourth moments after Tomac won and Webb settled for second. Barcia held on for third, while Anderson finished sixth behind this group. Cianciarulo, Nichols, Plessinger, and Wilson completed the top 10.

250SX race two:
Lawrence turned in the race’s fastest lap after the white flag, but it wasn’t enough to move forward from third. Hampshire and Kitchen ahead secured first and second, holding their positions from the first lap to the checkered flag, with Hampshire winning by 2s. Vohland ran third early but dropped to sixth at the end, with Brown and Lopes completing the top five behind Lawrence in third. Oldenburg, Kelley, Mumford, and Thompson comprised the remainder of the top 10. A late crash for Matt Moss (Bar-X Suzuki) had him mired in 20th, just ahead of Robertson and Luke Kalaitzian, who didn’t make the start after their involvement in the red flag-inducing incident earlier.

450SX race two:
Sexton executed a wire-to-wire victory in Arizona’s second 450SX race of the night. Tomac briefly owned the lead after Sexton faltered in the track’s second turn, but a remarkable pass through the whoops for Sexton put the Honda rider past Tomac and back in control. Sexton grew his lead to just shy of 3s with five minutes remaining and went on to win by 3.742s. Still in their starting positions of fourth and fifth, Anderson and Webb made contact as Webb attempted to get by for fourth. Anderson was displeased with the move and ran Webb high in the next corner. Barcia slipped by for fifth, but Webb got the position back before the checkered flag. Behind the victorious Sexton, Roczen nearly caught Tomac for second while Anderson came close to getting by Roczen for third on the last lap. However, Roczen used the inside line in the final corner to great effect and held onto third. After Webb and Barcia in fifth and sixth, Cianciarulo, Nichols, Plessinger, and Wilson completed the top 10.

250SX race three:
With a win in the night’s third and final 250SX race, Lawrence broke his “Triple Crown curse” with his first victory in the alternate Supercross format. Lawrence ran second early behind Kitchen, but the Yamaha rider never recovered from a mistake after the first rhythm lane that allowed Lawrence to slip by for the lead. The 250SX West points leader went on to win by a margin of 3.7s over Kitchen. Hampshire moved from sixth to third almost immediately after the completion of the first lap, setting up a potential Kitchen-Lawrence-Hampshire duel. A remarkable save for Hampshire in the whoops kept the Husqvarna rider in contention moments before Kitchen’s mistake promoted Lawrence to the win. Brown lost track position due to an error in the whoops that sent him into the previous lane, nearly directly into the path of oncoming riders. That helped Lopes capture fourth aboard his ClubMX Yamaha, with Brown completing the top five. Vohland, Kelley, Wageman, Harrison, and Mumford rounded out the top 10.

450SX race three:
Scheduled for 9:39pm local time.
