Leaves Mumford as the sole team rider in 250SX West this Saturday.
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Cameron McAdoo has been sidelined from the upcoming round of the Monster Energy Supercross in Glendale due to a shoulder injury sustained in practice this week.
McAdoo, 25, is currently third in the 250SX West Championship standings and is 26 points behind red plate-holder Jett Lawrence (Team Honda HRC), with the latest injury a disappointing blow in his 2023 challenge.
“Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Cameron McAdoo will sit out Glendale SX due to a shoulder injury sustained during practice this week,” a post from Kawasaki read.” Further updates on Cameron’s expected return to racing will be provided when available.”
The number 48 has delivered gritty performances throughout the current season to date, scoring four third places finishes and a P6 at Anaheim 2’s Triple Crown in the west coast races contested so far this year.
The announcement means Carson Mumford will be the sole representative for the team this weekend in 250SX West during the Triple Crown at State Farm Stadium.
