A familiar 250SX East win for Hunter Lawrence was nearly followed by Aaron Plessinger becoming the 66th rider to win a 450SX main event, but a dramatic crash two turns from the white flag saw it slip away from the Red Bull KTM rider. Instead, the championship trio of Chase Sexton, Cooper Webb, and Eli Tomac landed on the podium inside Ford Field to conclude the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross visit to Detroit.
