Following a nasty crash during the 450SX main event in Houston, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Dylan Ferrandis has confirmed that he is back riding and is targeting a return at Daytona.

Ferrandis has confirmed that he will sit out round seven of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Championship at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, but is hopeful to return for round eight next weekend.

“Finally back to riding,” the Frenchman announced. “No racing this weekend, but hope to be back for Daytona.”

Ferrandis entered round four of the series sitting in sixth place in the 450SX championship, but has since slipped back to 14th following the incident at in Texas that resulted in a concussion.
