Conclusion of post-season pushed forward three weeks.
The playoffs and final dates have been rescheduled for the SuperMotocross World Championship, with the SMX post-season to now conclude three weeks earlier at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Due to the recently releases Pac-12 Conference college football schedule, the SMX playoffs and final dates have shifted, with the newly released schedule now impacting USC Trojans’ home games scheduled at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
zMax Dragway in Concord, N.C will still host the first SuperMotocross World Championship playoff on Saturday 9 September, with the second playoff at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill, brought forward to Saturday 16 September. The SuperMotocross World Championship final will then take place on Saturday, 23 September at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Two rounds have been completed so far in the inaugural SuperMotocross World Championship, with Eli Tomac (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing) and Jett Lawrence (Team Honda HRC) the respective red plate-holders in 450SX and 250SX West as AMA Supercross moves to Anaheim 2 this Saturday.
