AMA numbers have been announced for the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season, including a new career number for Christian Craig.

Craig will retain number 28 for his career after earning enough points, with last year’s 250SX West champion stepping up the premier class in both championships.

Single digit numbers four and eight remain unused for 2023. Ryan Dungey has retained number five despite not racing next season, with motocross legend Tony Cairoli given number 65. However, if Cairoli returns next year it is expected that he would continue with 222.

Once again, for superstition purposes, no rider will use number 13 in Supercross or Pro Motocross for the 2023 season.
