Seely comeback official alongside Brayton, Friese and Oldenburg.
The entire four-rider roster of MotoConcepts Racing (MCR) Honda has been revealed ahead of the 2022 World Supercross Championship, highlighted by the addition of Cole Seely out of retirement.
MCR will feature an all-American line-up of Justin Brayton – despite retiring from full-time US competition in May – alongside Vince Friese, Mitchell Oldenburg and Seely.
Both Brayton and Friese will enter the SX1 category on 450s, while Seely’s comeback will take place with Oldenburg aboard 250cc machinery in SX2.
“I’m excited for the new opportunity the World Supercross series provides,” commented Mike Genova, owner of MotoConcepts. “We’re going in strong with our rider line-up and know that each one of them is a title contender in their class.”
Current four-time Australian champion Brayton is accustomed to competing internationally, while for Seely, the opportunity to re-enter the sport following near three years on the sidelines was a welcome one. Like Brayton, Friese and Oldenburg were staples in the MCR team during AMA Supercross this season.
