250SX qualifying:
Regions were split during the sessions and first up it was 250SX East, where runaway points-leader Jett Lawrence (Team Honda HRC) topped the charts with a 1m27.662s lap-time, over a second clear of the returning Austin Forkner (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki), with Mitchell Oldenburg (Smartop Bullfrog Spas MCR Honda) continuing his solid form in P3. The top five was completed by Jordon Smith (Fire Power Honda Racing) and RJ Hampshire (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna). Once 250SX West was on-track, Nate Thrasher posted a 1m27.687s to effectively match Lawrence from the session prior and edge Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha teammate Christian Craig on the time-sheets. Next in line was Hunter Lawrence (Team Honda HRC) despite crashing heavily on press-day, with Michael Mosiman (TLD Red Bull GasGas) and Garrett Marchbanks (Muc-Off FXR ClubMX Yamaha) in the fourth and fifth places.

450SX qualifying:
The lone 450SX session was led by Team Honda HRC’s Chase Sexton at 1m25.181s, just one-tenth up on Jason Anderson (Monster Energy Kawasaki), who recorded a 1m25.286s. Last week’s winner Marvin Musquin (Red Bull KTM) slotted into third, followed by red plate-holder Eli Tomac (Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha) and Malcolm Stewart (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna) inside the top five. Positions six through 10 featured Justin Barcia (TLD Red Bull GasGas), defending champion Cooper Webb (Red Bull KTM) as he returns to action, Justin Bogle (Twisted Tea Suzuki), Justin Brayton (Smartop Bullfrog Spas MCR Honda) and Freddie Noren (Brown’s RV Superstore Cole Racing KTM). A notable non-qualifier was Max Vohland, the Red Bull KTM rider missing the fast 20 in his session.

250SX main event:
Everybody wanted to see a duel between the points-leaders from each region and, in the end, both Craig and Jett Lawrence were on the podium. But ahead of them, it was Hunter Lawrence who rose to the occasion and claimed one of the biggest wins of his career – four seconds up on the field as the checkered flag flew. Up-front early was Shimoda as he led the opening three laps, then Hunter Lawrence took charge and controlled the remaining laps from there. Craig, meanwhile, was P4 on lap one and made his way into second by lap five, but a mishap on lap nine ended his hopes of truly challenging for victory from that point. Despite being 15th at the conclusion of the opening lap from a mistake of his own, Jett Lawrence worked his way into podium position with two to go, denying Shimoda a place on the box and that’s how the pair would finish, with top qualifier Thrasher taking fifth. Finishing sixth was Mosiman, followed by Forkner after he too went down, Hampshire, Oldenburg and Pierce Brown (TLD Red Bull GasGas). The 250SX West standings see Craig lead Hunter Lawrence by 23 points, with Jett Lawrence atop 250SX East by 47 points entering Foxborough next weekend.

450SX main event:
A return to winning form saw Anderson stand on top of the 450SX podium for the first time in seven races, marking his fourth win of the season. It was Barcia who took the holeshot and led the opening lap, until Sexton made his move, almost directly followed by Anderson into position. Then, Sexton washed the front and went out of the lead, allowing Anderson to slot into P1, while behind him, Barcia was next to fall while in second, which bumped Webb up on his return until Tomac eventually made his move into the runner-up spot. In the end, Anderson held strong to win, with Tomac second from Sexton, who managed to overcome Webb for the final podium position with a few laps left to run and that’s where they remained. Fifth came Stewart, with Barcia recovering to salvage sixth, followed by Brayton, Kyle Chisholm (Yamaha), Brandon Hartranft (Twisted Tea Suzuki) and Musquin, who crashed early and worked his way forward from the rear of the field. It’s still Tomac who comfortably leads the championship, 53 points ahead of Anderson with three rounds left to run.
