Limited release line features tribute to the legendary Evel Knievel.
Troy Lee Designs has released its latest limited edition gear set, the Evel collection, which is now available featuring a SE4 helmet, GP jersey and air glove.
Paying tribute to the original stuntman and entertainer Evel Knievel, the full line of the kit that originally debuted at the 2019 Red Bull Straight Rhythm and also worn at RedBud by TLD Red Bull GasGas Factory Racing riders this season is finally here.
TLD Evel SE4 composite helmet
The TLD SE4 composite helmet comes fitted with MIPS, incorporating brain rotational protection, and an aerospace fiberglass composite shell.
20 intake ports allow cool air to be channelled around and over the rider’s head, forcing hot and sweaty air out through the 12 exhaust ports.
Anatomical 3D contoured cheek pads with an emergency release system for EMS responders are fitted, and combined with a washable Dri-Lex liner helps create the perfect fit.
For added durability and protection, the SE4 composite helmet utilises an EPP (expanded polypropylene) chin bar, while three shell sizes are available to accurately suit a variety of head sizes and rider ages.
This limited edition SE4 composite helmet comes in a unique colorway and retails at $495.
TLD Evel GP jersey
Designed with comfort and minimal weight in mind, the GP also offers the durability that TLD is known for. Breathable and flexible material allow a tailored, comfortable fit for any rider.
Constructed with Blue Sign certified TLD dura knit material, the TLD Evel GP jersey ($45) has a wicking and quick dry finish, boasting a ride fit and silicone Troy Lee Designs signature on the tail.
The fresh Evel GP jersey colorway retains the versatility of the GP line, making it the perfect choice for all types of riding and racing conditions.
TLD Evel air glove
Troy Lee Designs gloves are designed and meticulously tested before they are fitted to the hands of some of the world’s fastest athletes, the TLD Evel air glove ($34) in its unique design and pattern being no exception.
The air glove boasts a compression-molded cuff and single layer palm with laser perforated holes for breathability, with micro-mesh used all over for extra ventilation. Silicon print on the fingers provides extra grip and control of the brake lever.
