Another factory rider now sidelined in closing stages of Pro Motocross.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Marvin Musquin will miss today’s Ironman round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross after a positive covid-19 test.
As reported by Racer X this morning, Musquin has been forced to sit out one of his favored circuits on the schedule – the news confirmed by KTM’s Roger De Coster.
Musquin is the second major 450MX competitor to be sitting out Indiana due to covid, with Twisted Tea Suzuki’s Max Anstie confirming yesterday that he too had returned a positive test.
With three rounds remaining in Pro Motocross, Musquin is currently tied for fifth position in the standings with factory KTM teammate Cooper Webb after finishing seventh at Budds Creek last weekend.
