Reed and group of former champions to mentor East Region program.
A selection of American motocross’ most promising amateur talents are set to gather at Ironman Raceway this Friday for the inaugural MX Sports Pro Scouting Moto Combine.
In attendance as mentors for the 27 August event will be a host of former national champions and winners including Chad Reed, Broc Glover and Damon Bradshaw.
Featuring a contingent of East Region A and B class riders, the combine will be highlighted by a pair of 25-minute-plus-two-lap motos, providing a great opportunity for the riders to showcase their talents to the key members of the pro paddock.
Adding to the excitement on track, the East Region competitors will participate in classroom-style education sessions that will provide insight into other aspects of competing at a professional level including fitness, nutrition and media engagement.
Concluding the event is a ceremonial parade lap that will take place during the opening ceremonies of the Ironman National, providing recognition to the fans attending.
The East Region portion of the new program will be a forerunner to round 10 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, which will take place on 28 August.
