Broken thumb and fractured ribs the extent of injuries so far.
AJE Motorsports Motul GasGas rider Chris Blose has been cleared of serious injury after being air-lifted out of Atlanta 3, confirming that he has returned home since Saturday evening’s scare in the 250SX West main event.
Blose was in an early incident that also involved Cameron McAdoo (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki), causing the race to be red-flagged trackside as he was attended to by the Alpinestars Medical Crew.
The 33-year-old provided an update to his fans via social media on Monday to announce the extent of his injuries, which include a broken thumb and fractured ribs. Scans on his head, neck and chest have all returned clear.
“First of all, I just want to say thank you everybody for reaching out to check on my well-being,” Blose stated. “Good news is I am back home after a big crash that wasn’t even my fault. After taking a helicopter to the hospital and getting scans to my head, neck and chest everything turned out to be okay with those.
“I got lucky enough to only get a broken thumb and fractured a couple ribs. I can’t thank everyone enough for the love and support through this time – I’ll keep everyone in the loop as I find out if surgery is needed. Thanks again!”
Current Australian SX2 champion Blose – a veteran in the 250SX category – has a season-best result of seventh to his credit from Arlington 3, currently ranked 11th in the championship standings following last week’s Atlanta Motor Speedway rounds.
