Aiming to finish the season inside the top 10 in points.
Justin Brayton will return to action in Arlington after a chest injury before Orlando 1 forced him to miss three rounds of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross championship.
The Muc-Off Honda rider is still dealing with the lingering effects of the injury, but is excited to return to action this weekend as the series heads to Arlington for the residency at AT&T Stadium.
While cleared to return to racing, Brayton will still be managing injury as he gets back on track. Despite the injury and time away from racing, the 36-year-old and the team have still managed to fit some testing in ahead of his return.
“We made some changes to the bike,” Brayton said in a press release, “and did as much testing as we could in the timeframe we have had following my injury.”
“I am grateful to all of our respective partners for working hard to prepare new parts and equipment for me to test. The injury took its toll, I am not 100% but I need to get racing again.”
Brayton currently sits 13th in the 450SX championship and has his sights set on finishing the season inside the top 10 in the standings.
“We still have a chance of being inside the top 10,” he continued, “at the end of the Championship. I am taking it one race at a time but I want to do all that I can to get some solid results before the season ends.”
