Extent of finger injury sidelines Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM WPS rider.
Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM WPS has confirmed that Blake Baggett will sit out Saturday’s final round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross at Fox Raceway, still recovering from a hand injury picked up in recent rounds.
Baggett has developed what is identified as a ganglion cyst in his right hand, which has attached itself to a ligament that affects his ring finger area and spreads pain throughout his entire throttle hand.
The injury marks an unfortunate early end to Baggett’s 450MX season, currently ranked seventh in the standings following a mid-season surge in form. Baggett won the second moto at RedBud 2 and went 2-2 for second overall in Millville, but further damage came in the opening moto at Thunder Valley.
