Surgery confirmed for Monster Energy Yamaha rider.
Monster Energy Yamaha’s Aaron Plessinger has dislocated his wrist while preparing for the outdoor season, undergoing surgery in a bid to be recovered for the beginning of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross.
Plessinger revealed the injury via social media this afternoon, however, it is unclear how long the injury will take to recover following his operation today.
“Well, unfortunately had a little mishap yesterday and resulted in a dislocated wrist,” Plessinger explained. “Going for surgery today – more updates to come. Was feeling great on the bike, but things happen for a reason and I’ll be back strong.”
Pro Motocross was previously due to start this weekend at Ironman Raceway, before a spike in coronavirus cases caused further postponements to the 2020 schedule. It’s not yet been confirmed when the championship will begin following the latest delay.
