Further injury woes bench both JGRMX riders over the weekend.
Returning JGRMX Yoshimura Suzuki pilot Broc Tickle was forced to miss the weekend’s Triple Crown main events in Texas after injuring his hand on the opening lap of final one.
Just one week after making a promising comeback in Tampa, Tickle qualified 17th overall to scrape directly into the Arlington 450SX night show.
That was practically where it would end for him, however, involved in an early incident that saw his hand injured as a result. The extend of his injury – or a return date – isn’t yet determined.
“Broc just had bad luck the first lap of the first main event, when his hand got hit by another rider’s wheel,” said JGRMX team manager Jeremy Albrecht. “He was in too much pain to continue racing. We will have Tickle evaluated with a hand specialist and see what’s required and at that point determine a timeline for his return to racing.”
Suzuki has been struck with misfortune this season to date and Saturday also saw 250SX East entry Jimmy Decotis ruled out after a fall in practice. It’s expected he will resume this weekend in Atlanta aboard the RM-Z250.
