Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders prep for Triple Crown format this Weekend
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki press release:
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Jordon Smith and Garrett Marchbanks head to the great state of Texas for Round 2 of the Eastern Regional 250SX Championship taking place inside Arlington’s AT&T Stadium. Smith and Marchbanks will face their first and only Triple Crown race of the year (the other two are during Western Regional rounds) and the duo are ready to take full advantage of the unique format.
Both riders were thankful for making it through Round 1 with decent finishes, but neither were happy to be off the podium. Marchbanks is eyeing his second career podium, while veteran Smith is looking to take his 14th career podium finish in Arlington.
“The opening round wasn’t what we were hoping for in terms of results, but Jordon got the holeshot and Garrett’s fastest time was just 0.2 seconds off of the leader. Looking ahead, we know that Texas tends to be slick and blue grooved so we’ll be prepared for that along with dialing in our starts for the three main events.” – Zach White, R&D Manager
