250SX West time-sheets topped by Ferrandis this afternoon.
Rookie Adam Cianciarulo has kept his 450SX streak alive as Dylan Ferrandis led 250SX West in qualifying at Oakland’s fifth round of 2020 Monster Energy Supercross.
Cianciarulo topped the leaderboard for the fifth-straight week with a 59.448s, directly ahead of Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate Eli Tomac.
Defending champion Cooper Webb (Red Bull KTM) was the final rider beneath 1m00s in third, followed by Blake Baggett (Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM WPS) and Jason Anderson (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna).
Red plate-holder Ken Roczen (Team Honda HRC) was sixth this afternoon, as seventh through 10th included Justin Hill (Smartop MotoConcepts Bullfrog Spas Honda), Zach Osborne (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna), Justin Barcia (Monster Energy Yamaha) and Dean Wilson (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna).
It was Monster Energy Star Yamaha rider Dylan Ferrandis who emerged fastest in 250SX West.
Ferrandis recorded a 1m00.313s to go three-tenths up on Austin Forkner (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) and series leader Justin Cooper (Monster Energy Star Yamaha).
Fourth was Michael Mosiman (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna) after his podium last week, with Luke Clout (Penrite Honda Racing) impressing for fifth. On return today after missing three rounds, Cameron McAdoo (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) qualified P9.
